Families register for all 5 weekend sessions.

This is an Ontario Regulation. Your child must be 4 by the beginning of their session in order to attend summer sessions. Children should be able to use the washroom independently. If your child needs support due to a medical reason, just let us know!

Our program is outside the entire morning. Children must attend with appropriate clothing that will change over the 5 weeks in this session. Mornings are quite chilly, often needing a warmer sweater or coat. Layers are your best bet! Comfortable shoes for longer walks will be important. Please check the weather each morning. If there is rain, extra clothing is mandatory.

We will be at Heber Down. Program will run from 9:00 - 12:00. 

Children will explore the outdoor environment under the guidance of our mentors. Over 5-weeks, children will learn about water cycles, animal patterns, shelter building, and much more. Mentors will model how to respectfully engage with the environment, and children will explore their natural curiosity and build confidence. Students are encouraged to take safe risks and challenge themselves to push their thinking to discover new learning opportunities. 

Our Spring program is a mixed age group. There is no separation based on specific age. The children may separate into two groups based on interest or connections made throughout the weeks when exploring different areas. All children are provided the same opportunities should they be interested.

Families must provide lunches/snacks.  A reusable water bottle is required. We have clean drinking water and separate hand washing water on site. Children are often quite hungry. While we won't have a formal lunch time in this program, children are always welcome to listen to their bodies and eat if desired. We also offer a snack time where they can eat as much or as little that is packed for them. 

$195.00 + Tax for all 5 weeks.
