Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at inquiry@eunoiaforestschool.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.

This depends on the program!

All camps are for children 4 - 12. Children must have celebrated their 4th birthday to attend a camp session. This is an Ontario Regulation.

One-Day per Week school programs are for children 4 - 12. Children must be at least 4 by December 31 of their year of enrolment.

Full Day Kindergarten - Children must be eligible to register for kindergarten if attending in September (turning 4 by December 31) or have celebrated their 4th birthday.

Grade 1-3 Programs are for children who are 6, 7, or 8 on December 31 of their enrolled year.

On all of our program pages, you can select the "Register Now" button. You will be redirected to our Amilia page where you can select your desired programs.

Camp Samac in Oshawa, ON

We do not provide snacks or lunch. We do ask that families pack extra food for their child as full day's outside can make them more hungry. Eunoia does offer before and after care snacks, as well as provides all of the food for cooking throughout the program.

We recommend having a look at our Family Handbook above, it provides a list of clothing. Comfortable clothing is the number one indicator of success in our program. A child who is uncomfortable will not have fun. Layers is best with a change of clothes (or 2)  in a backpack.

Laundry comes with the nature of our program. Children will come home with muddy suits, wet winter gear, and stained clothing. Second hand gear is best, but you will still need to plan for laundry after your child's program. We don't expect your child to come to Forest School in their best clothing. Remember, "If you didn't get dirty, you didn't have fun". Ask us about your partnership with bare market for a discount on laundry detergent, sunscreen, and other needed items!
